Its an interesting little slice of a fallen world. But I do have a soft spot for post apoc in general. And trash scavenging.

Fifth and Final in the line up... And I try not to play favorites, but this one took the cake this run. And stretched the run time a bit. I'm picking up some strong kitty horror show vibes. I had a lot of fun running around the forest trying to peace this tragedy together. I recommend playing blind it worth the trip, check the hint file if you find yourself struggling, it a fun weird trip in a strange world. Great work.

Fourth in the line up. What a strange trip in a world ruled by Chitin. I had Bad Flesh on the brain from the jump, but it simple solid. Took me a bit to work out the last bits of hidden bug, but a solid pay off interesting through line. Nice work.

Third in the line up. A fun little trip into the post apoc. Short but with very decent world building just enough  to make you curious. Solid work Niven.

Second in the line up. Short solid and pretty twist. I enjoy my trip, the photo section was a little... particular about what counts as a good shot, but I suppose better narrow there then too broad. And that twist. Took me minute to stack all the odd. Good Job.

First in the line up. Wow. I've seen time pressure before. Movement Pressure with time pressure, that make it a little spicy. Simple solid. Incidentally thanks of the accessibility options.  Puts a different feel on the old flash game format. And that ending touch. Good work.

Fifth in the run. Yep. That's right Niven.. I too am running around necromancing I mean digging up the back catalog a little. I swear I'll play Passerby, just not this Horror Sampler. Weird dream like and disturbing. Took me a bit to get the drift but after... A worth While little trip. I like that... strange melted quality to the textures. The idea that loop just keeps starting over. Reminds me a bit of Forbidden Siren in that way.

Okay I looked away for a bit... and Stella Abbasi's run over on YT got my attention snapped back on. Thanks Stella. A great little weird tale. Can't recommend it enough. Best played blind. I love when people do something new with the older tropes. And I really like seeing how you build modern era stuff after Trust The Watchers. The half tough but fairly balanced, good slow build of tension again. By the end... I was still paranoid enough to assume... well you'll see. Great work keep it up.

A nice little chunk of micro horror... But were we being stalked with the purpose of adduction? Apart from the weird business suited dude about I didn't quite connect the dots there. Simple but solid. I'd suggestion maybe play with the light level a little or possibly a cat scare some where in the mix. But that Van blowing by was effective enough on it own. Solid effort.

Second in the line up. Felt... so much longer then it was.. That eerie repetition. I did try slipping through the break in the barrier.. Good slow burn earned jump scare with a lot of weird between. Nice work I'll have to peak in on the rest.

(1 edit)

First in the line up. A fun little demo with a pretty good selection of.. Implements. And leaning. I haven't seen leaning since the last time I booted up FEAR. A good all around demo. Look forward to seeing the full project. Lots of little story details  hinted at. I'm stilly curious to see if Rabbits a way out... or just self motivated.

Glad to hear it. Take your time. Looking forward to the next.

Fire
First in the line up. I do love a riff on a classic so I had to take a look for myself. Decent work. I like that cubic joke. Keep it up.

Second in the line up. A decent build, make good use of the dark and that psx feel. Good work.

Third game in then run. A great little slice of micro horror. Took me a little to get the gist of the controls, but once I got there solid work. Good job.

Fourth in the line up. A great little horror build. Always fun to fiddle with multiple endings. Granted I biffed the first run then got it together a little later. Good work.

Fifth in the line up. A short, interesting bend on the usual fishing horror. Surprized I haven't seen a fishing MMO sim as a setting before. Great work.

Look forward to the next project, and happy to play.

Your works always solid Niven. Which is a big help when I come up a game short or pull one a might bit too spicy for you tube. Look forward to it

Fifth and final for the sampler. Another banger with that slow slide into the surreal. Great work Niven. While as a trashbear I feel my perfect spot is the dumpster, this is terrific as a micro min build, your getting a lot across with very little. I particularly like the statue routine.

Fourth in the line up. This one comes with some extra strange feeling. That sense of this doesn't belong here. Tense, short, and worth the trip. Good work.

Third in the line up. Short, tense, with just a dash of the surreal. I love how iffy and cynical the protag feels. And that pay off. That last section. Great work keep it up.

Second in the line up. A great little demo. The more involved reload really adds to the tension. And I did struggle with it for a bit. But overall an interesting chunk of horror. Look forward to the full game. Really scratches that full conversion Gold Source era itch I get from time to time. Good work!

First in the line up. A short strange game, with just enough to make you curious about what's going on. And some pretty good tombstone puns I completely missed in my first two runs. A worth while trip. Good work.

A Great short horror game. With a well earned jump scare.

Fifth and final in the line up.  Simple straight forward with earned jump scares. A solid build, with that slow slide into weird. Good job.

Fourth in the line up. A great dreamy intro, full of that out of time feeling from Twin Peaks, a big hunk of the dream sequence from same with that eerie descending feeling as you go. Looking forward to the first episode.

Third in the line up. The minimalist controls and environment are a unique way to add to the tension. It takes it time, builds, with a sudden shift that... really deserves the play. A worth while trip. And that finish. Good job.

Second in the line up.  An interesting start, with the old weeping angel/scp173  situation to start... with a sudden pair ot twists at the end. Tough but fair, and the finish was great. And I really appreciate the check points. Good job.

First in the line up.  A good build up to a well earned jump scare. And that nod to the Mandela Catalog. A short but fun trip.

Fifth and final in the line up. A great spooky twist on mine sweeper. With just a little fogger thrown in. I really do enjoy this idea of diggin into the other weird around Fairview, I'll have to give the rest of the titles a playthrough at some point. I love the progress saves you keys. So tough, but with out frustration. Good work keep it, looking forward to episode 1.

Hi Niven. Fourth in the line up. What a great little mirco horror, I'd love to see it built out a bit more. But that what mirco horror does best makes you curious. Good job keep it up. Also I do love that blood particle effect really surreal feeling. Keep it up.

Third in the line up. Great job playing with expectation and tension. A grand micro horror game. I'll keep an eye on your projects. Keep it up.

Second in the line up. A great little slice of micro horror. Has that other world ritual creepy pasta feeling. Some of that SCP vibe. I really enjoy it. Ps... would love to learn more about Dino Girl.  Good work keep it up.

First in the line up. A great tight game that really holds out on that jump scare. Good job keep it up.

.... note to self fated bonkening

I mean you did a great job of making me want the bonk stick.

Fifth and Final in the line up. A solid little jank for a snack. Its pretty solid and functional.  I see your keeping up with the multiple endings. A nice short spook game to explore a bit. I think the shop and food stand closing up for the night sign post that one end a little better, but it does do the job just fine. And the far road. Such a great little tension building twist there. Good job keep it up.

Fourth in the line up. A solid little 80s Slasher tribute. The notes did a good job of building interest. I do love me some scattershot lore.  I feel like missed some notes, but hey, got leave some mystery. I have to admit I was not ready for the chaser to just no clip through the walls. I know some folk would call that jank, but for me I was having flash backs to the subway in Silent Hill 4. I do appreciate being able to move around in first person mode, seriously, I wished for that a lot in certain titles ages ago. And really help me out in the chase. Glad to see you still at it. Keep it up.

Third in the line up. I have to admit I put this one off. I was unaware there was the convince/gas station. I'm a big fan of late night Convince horror. But that first tension builder... you know after the ticket.. Great pacing. I really enjoyed. And the sound design did so much to keep the tension high. Good work keep it up.
